Clairmont Hills - Wilderness Trail Run

My Progress. Ive been working the Clairmont hills wilderness trail for a bit over a month now, so far ive been able to shave a total of 05:38 minutes from my original time of 48:13 min. Im down to 42:39 minutes (image above). My goal is to bring it it down to 40 minutes and then ill start running it twice around. By June i hope to be running it thrice around.

Hardgainer

For the past couple month’s I’ve been trying to build muscle thus taking in more calories and trying to up my protein intake with shakes and alike. No visible progress yet. I’m a hardgainer, however what I have gained is fat, just a bit, but enough to discourage. It truly is a hard thing to gain muscle fast while still remaining lean, and well I really like being lean, I don’t want to give it up even temporarily.  So I’m going to revert back to my regular diet and I will continue working my upper body, hopefully I will still gain muscle even if it’s at a much lower rate. For now my focus is to get my abs back nice and lean for tough mudder.

Morning routine (tough mudder training)

I need some motivation. Last night I was determined to get up early the next morning to go out for a run before work. This morning for the life of me I could not get out of bed, I tried talking myself up but to no avail. So, I’m going to the gym after work in a few minutes….  My goal however is to run every morning before work, 6am.  I’ll try again tomorrow.
